Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth by managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Account Executive will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, while also meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking.
Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively negotiating deals and closing sales.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Utilize CRM software to manage sales activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales progress.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
Manage accounts efficiently, providing ongoing support and communication to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction management or equivalent experience preferred
5+ years sales experience or more in manufacturing, building construction, environmental or sustainability field
A passion for sales and competency in positioning services at "C" levels within organizations
Ability to build relationships through education and ability to sell technical sustainability strategies
Understanding of sustainability industry pricing models
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts
Demonstrated ability to generate over $2 million+ in sales per year
Experience using CRMs to manage contracts, leads, and deals
Preference for sustainable operations and/or LEED building experience
