AM 200 Full Service Law Firm Seeks Public Entity Labor and Employment Associate/Of Counsel in Sacramento, CA
An established AM 200 law firm with a statewide presence is seeking a mid-level to senior Associate or Of Counsel to join its team in Sacramento. This person will have 4-10+ years of experience with public labor and employment.

$110k - $180k contingent on experience

Qualifications:
4-10 years of experience in labor and employment law, specifically with public sector clients
Prior experience in labor relations, collective bargaining, or administrative hearings preferred
Admission to the California Bar in good standing
Juris Doctorate from a recognized law school (top 50% class ranking preferred)
Responsibilities:
Serve as Chief Labor Negotiator for collective bargaining matters
Respond to union demands and requests for information
Advise public sector clients on unfair labor practice risks and strategies
Represent clients in administrative hearings, including grievance arbitrations and cases before the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB)
Prepare witnesses, gather evidence, and present cases at hearings
Provide guidance on labor and employment compliance for public entities
