Audit Senior
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to apply analytical thinking to complex financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements for private businesses, non-profit organizations, government entities, and employee benefit plans
- Develop and execute audit plans, ensuring that audits are completed in accordance with compliance standards
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their audit needs and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards and regulations, and implement necessary changes in audit procedures
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA eligible or CPA license preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, with a focus on private business audits, NFP audits, government audits, and employee benefit plan audits
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
