We are looking for a motivated and experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong technical background in Electrical Systems Design, Electromechanical Components, Motors, Controls, Wiring, and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and familiarity with electrical equipment and device placement. They must also possess expertise in system automation, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.
This position will work closely with a team of engineers to develop electrical designs, control systems, control schematics, electrical schematics, power and motors, fluid dynamics, and electrical drawings. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining control systems using various software products such as Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI, Robotics, Fanuc, AutoCAD, Archestra, Allen Bradley, Modicon, Beckhoff, Siemens, Factory Talk, RS View, WinCC, Wonderware, ABB, Motoman, and Robots. In addition, the Controls Engineer will be expected to be proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in developing control systems, electrical designs, and electrical diagrams, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and maintain existing systems.
