Electrical Project Manager
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for all phases of the assigned project. Oversees the electrical project from design review and preliminary schedules through completion. This position requires day-to-day management of all facets of the project. Reports directly to the Regional Director of Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize electrical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Define the project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress and manage risks effectively.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or electrical field.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
