Estimator
We are looking for an experienced Estimator for Electric projects to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate estimates and cost analysis of potential projects. You should have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, construction methods, and be comfortable working with the latest estimating software.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze customer specifications and drawings to produce accurate cost estimates
Review drawings and project plans with customers and staff to determine the best approach to job completion
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely and cost-effective manner
Utilize cost data for current and past projects to make more accurate estimates
Perform quality control of estimates and provide feedback to other departments
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in Estimating and Electrical engineering
Proficient in the use of estimating software and other related applications
Knowledge of data centers, industrial, sports, commercial, healthcare, higher education, low voltage, and low voltage power distribution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to customers and colleagues
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
