Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and providing essential support to our project management team. This role is critical in ensuring project profitability and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required resources.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects including commercial, retail, and public works.
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing information.
Develop and maintain a database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
Monitor project costs and provide reports on budget adherence and variances.
Participate in project meetings and provide expertise on cost-related matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred not required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and standards.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
