Because of our growth, we are seeking a skilled Field Foreman or Superintendent with Commercial Painting experience to lead and supervise painting crews on job sites.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in commercial painting applications, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of painting crews on commercial job sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to ensure proper execution of painting projects.
- Ensure all surface preparation, painting, and coating applications meet industry and company quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Coordinate material deliveries and manage inventory of paints, coatings, and supplies.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and contractors to provide updates on job progress.
- Train and mentor crew members, ensuring they follow best practices and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site, including resolving technical and logistical challenges.
- Ensure all work is completed within schedule and budget constraints.
- Conduct final inspections and punch-list walkthroughs to ensure high-quality project completion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial painting, with at least 2 recent years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, spray applications, and commercial painting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and job site safety procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team of painters.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
