Location: Roseburg, OR (Relocation support can be provided)
Salary: $80k - $95k base (+ overtime opportunities)
Requirements: 1+ year w/PLC programming and 1+ year with electrical/mechanical abilities
We are an automated equipment manufacturer and have an entry level Controls Engineer job opening available. Join our growing team in Roseburg, Oregon where you will work in our Electrical Controls Department to design and program automated industrial control systems. We are a team of 6 controls engineers and growing - looking to add a handful more team members to support our growth this year!
As the Controls Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design PLCs, HMIs, servo controls, and industrial robotics. You will be involved in all aspects of design control, programming, testing, and fine-tuning the system you helped develop.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical/Mechanical knowledge and ability
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
PLC programming (RS Logix)
Travel required (approx. 25%)
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering degree preferred
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required
Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling a plus
Ability to work independently and in groups
High degree of attention to detail
Must be high energy and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ideally 1+ year w/PLC programming and 1+ year with electrical/mechanical abilities
Bachelor's degree preferred but will also consider experience
