Established (75+ Years) Leading Building Materials Company Seeks Instrumentation Technician in Joplin, MO
Leading provider of roofing and building materials, and we're looking for an Instrumentation Technician with experience in PLC troubleshooting to join our team in Joplin, MO. This individual will be responsible for modifying and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits:
$35 - $41 per hour based on experience

Who You Are:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience with high school diploma or GED OR
Minimum of 3 years professional experience with an associate degree
Experience with motor controls
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
Ability to select, install, configure, and calibrate proximity sensors, thermocouples, and other industrial sensors
Ability to pass a drug screen
Experience working with Siemens 505 & S7 PLCs and Wonderware HMI systems (Preferred)
Experience with electrical repairs on various types of electrical equipment
Experience with process control and troubleshooting (Plus)
Experience in roofing manufacturing or web process handling or other processes that integrate multiple pieces of equipment (Plus)
NEC, and Electrical Distribution Knowledge and Experience (Plus)
What You Will Be Doing:
Modify Siemens 505 & S7 PLC systems and Wonderware HMI systems as needed
Select, install, and calibrate various industrial sensor arrays
Perform electrical repairs according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules
Train operators on new systems and update Lockout/Tagout and Standard Operating Procedures documentation
Participate in plant safety programs and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Maintain a positive and productive team environment
