Insurance Litigation Attorney (Policyholder & ERISA Claims)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Attorney to join our team, specializing in policyholder and ERISA claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance litigation and will be responsible for representing clients in disputes against insurance companies to ensure they receive the benefits they are entitled to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in insurance litigation cases involving policyholder and ERISA claims.
  • Evaluate and assess the merits of claims, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs for litigation processes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to resolve disputes amicably.
  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options in insurance claims.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary to advocate for clients.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices related to insurance claims and litigation.

Qualifications

  • Jurisdictional license to practice law as an attorney in California
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance litigation, focusing on policyholder and ERISA claims.
  • Proven track record of successful litigation and negotiation outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of insurance law, bad faith claims, and recovery strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
