Location: Milford, CT (or surrounding areas)
Salary: $50K-$70K Base (salary can be higher or lower depending on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist in the sourcing, purchasing, and management of materials and supplies, ensuring that the organization remains stocked and operational while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement process by identifying and qualifying suppliers.
Generate and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize sourcing strategies and improve supplier relationships.
Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and new products.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as necessary to meet production demands.
Support the implementation of ERP systems to streamline purchasing processes.
Assist in vendor qualification and evaluation to ensure suppliers meet company standards.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems and purchase order management.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
