Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations in a food manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring the production equipment is running smoothly, managing maintenance staff, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of all production equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to align with production schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance practices.
Manage maintenance budget and inventory of parts and supplies.
Collaborate with production management to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance supervision within a food manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production maintenance practices and techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Familiarity with USDA regulations and standards related to food safety.
Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
