Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming and a strong background in marine electronics. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of energy storage systems on marine vessels.
Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
Provide technical support and training to customers and partners.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement system improvements.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming and marine electronics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work on-site at various locations.
