Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Mason City, IA

Salary: $80-100k DOE

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our production processes and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will leverage engineering principles and best practices to implement efficient manufacturing solutions that meet customer demands and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine production plans.
Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings and layouts.
Conduct analysis to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Implement and maintain continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kaizen.
Develop and oversee production metrics and KPIs to monitor performance improvements.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
Support the integration of automation technologies and PLC/HMI systems in production.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on best practices and new processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Equivalent work experience with be considered in lieu of degree
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
Experience with PLC, HMI, or automation technologies.
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Minitab, 5S, and Kaizen.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
