Position Overview
The new Product Development Manager leads the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring products meet market needs and align with company goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in managing cross-functional teams and driving innovation in product offerings.

The New Product Development Manager will take charge within a team focused on advancing cutting-edge high-speed datacom and telecom solutions tailored for AI applications. This role involves collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders, including external customers (such as Hyperscalers, OEMs, and ODMs), industry partners, and internal teams, ensuring that innovative products meet emerging market demands. The leader in this position will oversee the development of new technologies and work closely with customers to integrate these solutions into next-generation platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of technical expertise and business insight, along with a passion for innovation and a strong dedication to creating user-focused, market-ready products. This position will play a pivotal role in the evolution of AI hardware within the datacom sector, driving industry growth and maintaining a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, collaborating with various teams including marketing, engineering, and design.
Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
Conduct market research to identify trends and user needs, and integrate findings into product strategy.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and objectives.
Oversee the product lifecycle management, making informed decisions to optimize product performance.
Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance user experience (UX).
Manage budgets effectively to ensure product development stays within financial constraints.
Conduct competitive analysis to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Facilitate prototyping sessions to iterate on product concepts and gather user feedback.
Analyze data to inform product decisions and improve overall product strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
5+ years of experience in product development or project management roles.
Prior industry experience in the Datacom/Telecom sector highly preferred. Strong technical acumen(electrical or mechanical) is a major plus.
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability in innovation and strategic planning.
Experience in user experience (UX) design processes and principles.
Skilled in market research and competitive analysis techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis and budget management.
SAP experience is preferred.
Prior experience in negotiating and working with contract manufacturers and electronics market OEM's is a plus.
