Quality Control Supervisor

Position Overview
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in the manufacturing environment, ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations. This role involves leading a team of quality control inspectors and implementing effective quality control strategies to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards and processes.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols in accordance with GMP regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to maintain product quality.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality control practices and methodologies.
  • Participate in risk assessments and the development of CAPA plans to address quality concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, GMP, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and SPC.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and AQL practices is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team effectively.
