NOTE: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee diverse construction projects located in Southern Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general contracting and construction management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results that meet client specifications. Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects from bid to closeout.
Lead a project team including superintendent, architect, PC, PE, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Evaluate and manage bids, including pricing and scheduling.
Plan and oversee self-performed trade work (concrete, masonry, and carpentry) and assist with production studies.
Negotiate subcontracts.
Assist with conceptual and schematic level estimating.
Manage the Owner Contract, including negotiations and draft development.
Oversee project schedules, including building, updating, troubleshooting, and taking necessary actions.
Lead job progress meetings, subcontractor coordination, RFI, PCO, and change order generation.
Co-manage jobsite safety with the superintendent.
Ensure adherence to contracts, local ordinances, and industry standards through continuous quality control.
Track and report project profitability.
Recognize and resolve issues promptly, ensuring full resolution.
Manage billing, change management, costs, profitability, and documentation.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in all phases of the construction process (preconstruction/construction management).
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Ability to lead and manage project teams.
Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience with estimating carpentry, concrete, and masonry is a plus.
Must be a committed team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with scheduling software, such as Procore.
