The right candidate should have several years of Accounting experience under their belt, with a knowledge of Sage Accounting software. This person should be a natural problem-solver, analytical and fair, with excellent communication skills. Experience in product manufacturing is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily accounting procedures
Preparing monthly financial statements and maintaining a general ledger
Managing employee benefits, payroll processing and new hire training
Regulating payment conditions
Sourcing and establishing new vendor partnerships
Supervising accounts payable and managing cash accounts and all related transactions
Assisting with the implementation of new ERP system

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
Familiarity using Sage
Proficiency in Excel
Experience in discrete manufacturing preferred
Excellent attitude and leadership ability
