An iconic brand is seeking a detail-oriented high-volume Senior AP Analyst to join our finance and accounting group. The role requires an APS certification. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This position will also involve reviewing and reconciling discrepancies, as well as providing insights to improve our accounts payable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process ~100+ AP Invoices daily
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable transactions, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
- Utilize Oracle Fusion to maintain financial records and support reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts payable processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Step in for the Supervisor upon their absense
- Review and reconcile supplier invoices and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the resolution of discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to process purchase orders and ensure timely invoicing.
- Monitor and report on invoice payment status to stakeholders, providing updates as necessary.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior Senior AP experience
- APS: Accredited Payables Specialist required for Senior title
- Proven experience as an AP Analyst or in a similar role within accounts payable.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of AP processes.
- Familiarity with invoice processing, expense report management, and supplier invoice reconciliation.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
