Senior Applications Developer

 

Job Location: Reston, VA (Fully on-site) 

Job Salary: $243-263k

Hours: Flexible work hours

Requirements: TS/SCI & FS Poly clearances

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full stack development and legacy applications support, with a strong focus on creating and maintaining robust applications. This role will involve working with both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring seamless integration and performance across various platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full stack applications in C#, focusing on both client and server-side functionality.
  • Provide support and enhancements for legacy applications, ensuring continued functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement and maintain client/server-based architectures for optimized application performance.
  • Manage and support relational database management systems (RDMS) to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprints and product backlogs.
  • Utilize GIT for version control and collaboration on code development and maintenance.
  • Engage in DevOps practices to streamline application deployment and monitoring.

 

Required Skills:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Full Stack development.
  • More than 5 years of experience supporting legacy applications.
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of C# desktop application development.
  • Ability to design and implement bug fixes in C# to support existing legacy systems.
  • Experience with client/server-based architecture applications.
  • 3 years of RDMS support experience.
  • Expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support applications.
  • Proven strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Proficiency with Git.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Sponsor's A&A process.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles.
