Requirements: 8+ years experience as a project manager overseeing heavy civil construction projects 

We are a rapidly growing general contractor that has been around  over 10 years running  $200million+ in work already! We are continuing to expand as we build out our corporate office and are opening new offices in surrounding states. We have multimillion $ contracts already awarded and are looking to bring on amore full time Senior level project managers in our corporate office to oversee upcoming heavy civil projects. 

Position Overview
The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of heavy civil construction projects. The role requires strong leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, unions, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Oversee site activities, including specialty civil services, site development/public infrastructure, energy facility construction, and underground utilities. 
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and resolve site issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy civil construction management preferably with a self performing contractor
• Proficient in construction management software, preferably Vista Viewpoint.
• Experience with union labor relations and management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
