What You Will Be Doing
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects from start to finish. You will need to ensure projects remain on time and within budget, ensuring that safety protocols are met and that projects meet the highest quality standards.
- Providing leadership for multiple aspects of concurrent projects including cost, planning, scheduling, supervision and management of personnel ensuring all financial targets are met.
- Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software., as well as industry-specific software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively.
- Managing all activities associated with materials, budgeting and production for assigned projects.
- Managing project related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems.
- Acting as a liaison with the customer and project staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues, communicate regarding project milestones.
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.
What You Need for this Position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $10M+ including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred
- Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
- Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
- Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
- Ability to travel.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines
- Commitment to providing customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Accubid preferred
