Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and manage geotechnical projects, providing expert analysis and solutions to complex engineering challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical investigations and analyses for various projects.
Design and review geotechnical engineering solutions, including foundation design, slope stability, and earth retention systems.
Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Conduct site inspections and oversee field testing to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and interns in the geotechnical field.
Collaborate with civil engineering teams to integrate geotechnical aspects into overall project design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred but not required.
Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices, including soil mechanics and foundation design.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.
