Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer - MEP Firm
Location: San Diego, CA 92103
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
As a result of a 2022 merger between 2 established MEP firms with 80+ years of history our 50+ employee firm located near Balboa Park in San Diego provides full service mechanical, electrical and plumbing consulting & engineering services to the construction industry. Some of the key facets of our business include heating & cooling, electrical systems, security and lighting design. We offer supplemental services surrounding LEED certification and energy audits as our team of licensed engineers provide a fairly comprehensive package. We are targeting to hire a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (ideally licensed) to join our growing team that has seen a 20% headcount growth over the past 2 years.
What You Need for this Position
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer
Experience w/ mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting design
AutoCAD & Revit knowledge is ideal
Knowledge of codes & standards incl: national, international & local jurisdictional electrical codes + NFPA codes
PE license & LEED preferred
