Sr. Mechatronics Technician

Position Overview
The Sr. Mechatronics Technician will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of advanced mechatronic systems. This position involves working collaboratively with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and meet the required specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PLC programming and electrical systems, as well as a passion for robotics and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain mechatronic systems and components.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
Conduct testing and validation of systems to meet performance specifications.
Integrate sensors and control systems into new and existing systems.
Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative solutions for automation challenges.
Perform mechanical assembly and ensure proper hydraulic and pneumatic system functionality.
Utilize CAD software for system design and modifications.
Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and engineering staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in a mechatronics or related technician role.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and electrical systems.
Familiarity with robotics and automation technologies is a plus.
Proficient in CAD software for 3D modeling and design.
Experience with troubleshooting and sensor integration.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Salary - $90,000 - $115,000
