Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and personnel to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship, addressing any deficiencies appropriately.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and safety orientations to ensure all team members are informed of project requirements and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of labor and supervision costs, schedule changes, and project changes for reporting and analysis.
• Implement construction practices and techniques that promote efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with project management teams during preconstruction phases to establish project goals and strategies.
• Assist in financial management by monitoring budgets and forecasting costs associated with project changes and labor.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects, with a focus on healthcare and the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, project scheduling, and quality control practices.
• Experience in financial management and understanding of labor and supervision costs.
• Familiarity with construction operations related to healthcare, retail, and institutional buildings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in project management software, including Bluebeam, for collaboration and documentation.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred, demonstrating knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
